Today Mara's name day, celebrated because no, live TV :-)). Two cakes for her today: one for lunch with grandparents (dad's gift) and one finished by me in the evening (after live TV) my first Caprese Cake!

It came really good, made with almonds and not only, also added nuts and peanuts -). Everything is not ground, but crushed by hand, into slightly larger pieces. "Feel me eat," Mara said, because the request was hers :-)).
There are several variants, I chose this one and I am very happy with it.
Ingredients:
* 250g of unpeeled almonds
* 250 g of dark chocolate
* 125g of butter
* 200g of sugar
* 5 eggs
* 2 teaspoons of yeast
* a pinch of salt
* 1 tablespoon flour
* 1 tablespoon of cocoa
* vanilla aroma
* icing sugar

Finely chop the almonds and melt the chocolate in a bain-marie together with the butter. Beat the yolks with the sugar until you get a clear and whipped mass. Add the almonds, the melted chocolate with the butter, the sifted flour with the yeast and the cocoa, the vanilla aroma and mix to blend everything. Whisk the snow whites with a pinch of salt and add them gently so as not to disassemble them into the almond and chocolate mixture. Pour everything into a low mold, tart but with smooth walls, and bake in a preheated oven at 160 & # 176- 180 & # 176 for about 40 minutes. Once cold, unmold the cake and sprinkle with icing sugar.
