Today I give you the recipe to prepare Neapolitan saltimbocca at home, crushed and elongated pizza bread sandwiches that are stuffed in various flavors from the classic ham and mozzarella to the most delicious sausage and broccoli; P Saltimbocca is an entirely Neapolitan specialty , a very different preparation from saltimbocca alla romana or those alla sorrentina, but equally greedy;) If you are looking for a delicious dinner for Saturday evening you can use my recipe and prepare these delicious saltimbocca for the whole family, everyone can fill them in the way he prefers and enjoy a sandwich different from the classic ones :) I wish you a good weekend and, if you try them, let me know how you filled them;)

How to do the saltimbocca

Dissolve the yeast in water at room temperature.

Put the flour in a bowl and pour the water in the center.

Start kneading, then add the salt and knead until you get a homogeneous dough.

Cover the dough with cling film and let it rise for about 6 hours or until doubled.

Take the dough and divide it into 6 loaves and lightly flour them.

Then pull them to obtain an elongated loaf

Then crush them with your hands, then place the panuozzi on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper

Sprinkle them with flour and leave to rest for 30 minutes.

Then bake the panuozzi in a preheated oven at 220 ° C and cook for about 15 minutes

Let your saltimbocca cool, then cut them in half and stuff them as you like.
An example? Speck and cherry tomatoes;)
